And these arrived today, for those who don't know, the two identical boxes enclose a 24 Port Gigabit switch, and a 10/100 24 port switch. Obviously, the Faster one will be used for the PC gaming at the Lan Party, and the slower one will be for the XBoxers. Behind those two beasts is 1000 feet (yes thats right, one THOUSAND feet) of red Cat-5e Network Cable, thanks to my wonderful agent who managed to snag us free shipping on it (it weighs like 25 pounds) so we came in just within budget.
Not pictured is a bag of 50 Black snagless boots, and 50 RJ-45 Cat-5e connectors. Yes, we are going to make all the cables that we will need.
In case you are wondering, both of those switches have Lifetime warranties, (my lifetime, so I'd better watch my driving)
